Melanie Straniero, the owner, has 35 years experience throughout New York and New Jersey. She has studied flower care from the grower to wholesaler to local shops. Melanie Straniero has many years of teaching experience at Brookdale Community College, inspiring many to lead successful careers in the floral industry. She creates all of her own unique holiday arrangements in specially designed keepsake containers.

The staff at Flowers By Melanie is friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. They are up to date on the latest styles and newest varieties of flowers. Everyone attends educational Teleflora flower shows. Their primary focus is to satisfy their customers. Flowers By Melanie stands behind all of their designs by using only the finest quality flowers.

Flowers By Melanie offers a wide selection of gifts including: topiary plants, Brite Lite fragrant candles, candy trees, junk food baskets, pottery, ceramic plaques and many more thoughtful gifts. Corporate accounts are welcomed. Custom arrangements can be created in unique containers and all occasions are serviced.

To help assure on-time delivery during the busy holiday season, place your order at least 4 days prior to the following major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Valentine's Day, Easter, Administrative Professionals Week, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day and Labor Day.

Our shop will always be closed on the following holidays:

U.S. orders must be received before 2:00 p.m. in the recipient's time zone to help assure same-day delivery. Orders received after that time will be delivered the following day.

We will do our best to accommodate deliveries at a specific time of day, but we cannot guarantee it.

We are unable to make deliveries on Sunday. Orders requesting delivery on this day will be delivered the following business day.

Deliveries of orders to rural route addresses or cemeteries cannot be guaranteed.

We will be happy to accept your international orders if you call our shop directly. We are unable to accept international orders over the internet.
